Workshop FAQ

I can no longer make it, can I get a refund?
If you are no longer able to attend, notify us via email at workshops@lyttletonstores.com.au at least 7 days before the workshop to receive a full refund or transfer to another workshop*. Please note, we do not allow any changes to be made to bookings within 7 days of your workshop.

Should a last-minute change come up, participants can send someone in their place or receive the course handbook (if any) if they are unable to attend within 7 days of the workshop.

Our cancellation policy is very clearly outlined in all the of the individual workshop pages and on our FAQ page. By purchasing a workshop, our customers are choosing to honour this policy.

*Bookings may only be transferred to another workshop once. After this, you cannot transfer again and your booking is considered forfeited.

Why can’t I get a refund within 7 days of the workshop?

We absolutely want to be flexible to our customers and members, but we have found in the past that this flexibility has always come at a cost whether it be to our tutors, other people who want a spot in the workshop, our staff members with the amount of administration involved with rescheduling participants, and more.

We are just getting back on our feet with offering workshops this year after a couple of years where we could not keep up with the amount of flexibility needed during the pandemic. We are on a very delicate balance of being able to continue and thrive by offering this learning space. Without clear boundaries around what we can offer in terms of cancellation flexibility, we would not be able to keep providing this. Lastly, we must adhere to our cancellation policy in fairness to other participants who have chosen to honour those conditions.

Do I need to bring anything?
In most of our workshops, all materials are provided, unless we specify in the online description that you need to bring something with you. We will also send a reminder out to you a few days before the workshop so that you can get organised before the day.

Can children come to your workshops?

Most workshops are suitable for children 12 years and up. They will need to purchase a ticket to participate. We generally don’t have enough room for children (who are not participating in the workshop) to come along, however, do get in touch with us via email (workshops@lyttletonstores.com.au) if you’d like to discuss as we may be able to make exceptions.

Is there food included?
Food is not included unless specified in the online workshop description under “What’s included.”  There are, however, plenty of delicious food options available for purchase in store and we have a tea and coffee station for refreshments.

If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us via email workshops@lyttletonstores.com.au.
