Kitchen Garden Remedies are based on herbs, spices, fruits, vegetables, flowers and other natural ingredients commonly found in home kitchens and gardens. Join naturopath Sonya Byron for this interactive and fun workshop, in which you will:
What to expect:
meet powerful healing plants and learn how to easily grow them yourself in your home garden;
learn about the medicinal properties of these plants and how, when and where to apply them;
learn how to make your own natural home medicine cabinet! Sonya will share her favourite home remedies for common health complaints, including colds, coughs and flu, sore throats, allergies and eczema, digestive disorders, fatigue and insomnia, headaches and migraine, poor circulation, bruises and burns, sprains and painful joints, period pain, menopausal symptoms, stress and anxiety, and much more!;
learn important hygiene and safety considerations, including which remedies are appropriate for children and the elderly, and when to call a doctor.
There will be plenty of time to ask Sonya your own questions, and you will leave the workshop feeling newly confident to care for your health and the health of your loved ones using the power of mother nature!
