Mushrooms are widely treasured for their nutritional and health benefits, but did you know that they are also vital for plant and ecosystem health.

Come and discover how to grow your own mushrooms at home while learning about the role fungus plays in the natural environment. Presented by local mushroom grower, Robin from Kedumba Urban Farm. 

What you will achieve from the workshop:
Participants will learn to grow two different species of mushroom and gain an understanding of the important role of fungus in ecosystem functioning..

What will you take home from the workshop:
Participants will take home an inoculated shiitake log which they can fruit at home as well as a fruiting chamber for the indoor cultivation of king oyster mushrooms. They will also receive an ebook with care instructions for their mushrooms.

$120 includes all materials and tuition information.

November 11th from 10am till 4pm
