Story Telling on the Winter Solstice

Story Telling and Dinner with John May and Lyttleton’s Kitchen on Friday the 21st of June, from 6:30pm

This beautiful story telling evening is a humble celebration of the season, with a roaring fireside long table dinner we are sure to connect deeply into the spirit of Winter.

Over the course of evening you we will be taken on an ancient and timeless journey by John May (of Hands Heart and Feet) as he weaves stories around the meal with both music and language.

The themes of the winter solstice are traditionally quietening, grounding, deepening to the the darkest day of the year when the night is the longest and the vale is thin. It is a time to honour our ancestors and reach out with gratitude to the cycles of life.

Keep warm with delicious food, loved ones and good company to celebrate Winter with us over the evening of the 21st June 2019.

The cost is $75 and includes:

Entertainment and engagement by John May

Long dinner with many courses and drinks by Lyttleton’s Kitchen
